What is Alive Youth Centre

Alive Youth Centre exists to provide a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for young people across Southampton. Whether you are looking to make friends, learn new skills, express your creativity, receive support, or simply enjoy spending time with others, Alive is a place where you can belong and grow.

Located in the heart of Shirley Southampton, our centre brings together young people from all backgrounds and creates opportunities for them to thrive socially, emotionally, and personally.

Why Alive?

The name Alive reflects our belief that every young person is created with purpose, value, and incredible potential.

To be alive is not simply to exist. It is to live with hope, courage, and direction. It is to discover who you are, grow into who you can become, and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

At Alive Youth Centre, we are committed to creating an environment where young people can thrive, build meaningful relationships, develop their gifts, and experience the fullness of life that comes from living with purpose.

What we offer
